Lesson From Dad IV ! / Watchful.

When you are alone by yourself ,

Watch your thoughts.

When you are with your Family,

Watch your temper.

But when you are with the others,

Watch your thoughts, temper and every word you utter.

I agree with you Jalal, unkind words are best left unsaid but sometimes firm words are needed as we can see with Jesus , Paul and others in the Scriptures but what is our motivation for these, to help or to hurt.

God will send when needed those in the Body of Christ, our friends in Christ Jesus, to chastise us when we sin and He does so for Love , this happened to me when I fell into sin but not away from Jesus and yes at the time I was not impressed but later I Thanked them for their Love and concern for me, their rebuke was needed.

Proverbs 27:4-6 Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Beautifully said Anne.We have to be firm. The truth is a two edge sword . A deceitful Tongue has killed more people than the sword and daggers.Best regards.Jalal
