Lesson From Dad III ! / Bend Not Break. (Post # 597)

Being Flexible is a great component,
And great virtue to live a balanced life.

The ability to bend under pressure is very,
Admirable, but it doesn’t mean abandoning your principals.

Rather it helps to accommodate the others to have a sincere,
And honest dialogue to agree and to reach a common ground.

Do it with open mind ,but don’t let it breaks you to surrender.

There are some silver maple trees near my house, and that’s what they do. When there is a big wind storm, and some of the bigger, stiffer trees break, the silver maples just dance and bow in the wind. They bend, but they don’t break.

Hi Cynthia ,wonderful comment , the trees are a living proof of being flexible .Sincerely Jalal

  3. It is True Jalal that we are not to agree to disagree, like arguing it just ends in division, we are to do what God tells us to do when we have differences and that is to bring them to Him, there is only one Truth and that is His, The Holy Spirit does not say one thing to someone and something different to another when they contradict, we are to be in agreement, if that means we have to break our own self orientated fleshy agenda, than so be it!

1 Corinthians 1: 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Philippians 2:1-17 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Philippians 3:14-16 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, where to we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

2Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in Peace; and the God of Love and Peace shall be with you.

    Christian Love Always – Anne.
